Youth Council

Our Youth Council is where our young players have their say on the running of our Club, including:

  • How can we increase their enjoyment and fun at the club?
  • What equipment and kit do they need to support their development?
  • What could managers and coaches do differently to continue the improvements within the Club?
  • Whatever ideas do you have for the betterment of the Club and our community

Any player at the Club from Under 7s up to Under 18s can participate in helping improve the Club.

The Youth Council leaders are Adam Keig and Dylan Boardman, who are currently playing for our Rangers team and have been with the Club since they joined Future Flixton Juniors over twelve years ago.

Here they are receiving their long service awards in 2020:

And here they are just after joining the club:

The Youth Council meets at least once every two months, if not more, and is attended by Club Welfare Officers.

For more information about the Youth Council, please contact Cara, Lynn or Klaire, our Club Welfare Officers.

The date, time and location of the next meeting will be published in the near future.

Last Meeting

Our last meeting took place on Saturday 22 February 2020, where the Youth Council voted on the Club Kit for our 50th Jubilee Season. Manchester FA joined us at the event.

The attendees were given the chance to select from one of three proposed choices by private vote.

The choices were:

and with 68% of the vote, kit style 2 was chosen by the Youth Council.

For the next meeting, the Youth Council has been asked to come up with ideas for a design of some sort that can be printed on the right side of the chest on the shirts to mark the 50th Jubilee.
